The content, links and resources on this page complement your Workbooks and other programme materials.
The Low Calorie Diet / Diabetes Remission programme is currently being delivered in:
- Birmingham & Solihull
- North East & North Cumbria
- South Eastern Trust (Northern Ireland)
Your TDR product booklet in your Welcome pack has helpful and important content in it, including details about Voucher codes and product ordering. If you don't have it to hand you can find the relevant Exante links here - if you don't use these links your Voucher codes won't work:
By all means browse the products, flavours and ingredients but don't forget your Voucher code when you go to order.
If you have any questions about an order that you've placed or not received then you should contact Exante's Helpdesk with your order number and make sure you let them know that you’re on the 'NHS / Momenta Low Calorie Diet programme'.
If you have any questions about using your Voucher code then ask your Coach at a session or email Support@momentanewcastle.com You might want to try these common troubleshooting tips in advance:
- Use the Momenta pages on the Exante site - see links above. Your Voucher code will not work on the main Exante site
- Copy and paste your Voucher code to reduce the chance of typos
- Make sure your 'basket' is empty before you start your order
- Log in as a guest rather than creating an Exante account
- Try a different browser e.g. Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox
- Some people have told us that they find it easier to order their products using a laptop or computer browser rather than a smartphone - we suggest you do this if you can
- Finally, please do not try to make changes to your basket once you have got to that stage as this can cause the order to crash - it is best to go back and make changes from the order page.
Unfortunately, the Momenta team cannot help with orders that have been placed - please contact Exante directly to resolve these.
Weight loss lookup tables
Scroll through the pages below to find your starting weight. You can then look across the row to see your Gold, Silver or Bronze weight loss targets.
Each target is shown as a target amount of weight to lose, your target end weight and a weekly weight loss to aim for over Phase 1 so you can check if you're on track.
If you don't know your weight in kilograms you can divide your weight in pounds by 2.2 - don't forget there's 14 pounds in a stone.
There are thousands of websites and apps to help you live a healthier lifestyle. We’ve highlighted a few of the free ones that you might find helpful to support you on your journey to living a fitter, healthier life.
- Shopping and cooking
- Getting active
The DRP Recipe book and Phase 2 Recipe book (Draft) are both hosted on Discover Momenta's website on the Diabetes Remission page of the Resources section.
This page also has other templates that are referred to in your Workbook, such as Building my balanced meal.
You can view them online or download or print them to browse at your leisure.
We've included a few other useful links for you here:
- Discover Momenta: The team behind the programme
- Newcastle University: Home of Professor Roy Taylor and his DiRECT team - where it all began
- Diabetes UK: Funder of remission research, partner of NHS England and a wealth of reliable information for people with diabetes
If you're in Phase 3 and your weight creeps back to more than 2kg above your lowest weight on the programme you become eligible for some additional TDR product support in the form of one of two 'Reset packages':
- Mini Reset Package: Weight regain of 2-4kg (4.5-9lbs)
- Full Reset Package: Weight regain of 4kg+ (9lbs or more)
You can discuss this with your Coach or one of our Advisers will contact you directly if we see your reported weight climbs back up. You can only use one of these Reset Packages once on the programme but it can be useful to help support the other changes you're making to your lifestyle.
You can read more about the two options by downloading the documents below or clicking on this link to view them online.
Why, how and when to use your fibre supplement
Taking a fibre supplement with your TDR products will help prevent constipation - one of the most common side effects of this kind of diet. We recommend you start taking 7g of fibre a day (spread across the day) from your first day of TDR. You should be able to stop taking the supplement at the end of 12 weeks when you start Phase 2.
Directions for use
See your TDR booklet for details - this was supplied in your Welcome pack.
Managing any discomfort or diarrhoea
If you have any unwanted discomfort or diarrhoea, please check the following before stopping taking the fibre supplement:
If there's no change, then stop taking the supplement and inform your Coach and/or contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further guidance.

This video takes you through the extensive functionality of the Tee2+ meter. As mentioned, you only need to use the basics on this programme - you can view these by fast-forwarding to 3mins 50 secs and stopping at 4mins 30secs. You are obviously welcome to explore additional functionality e.g. bluetooth pairing if you want to.
This is an older video from the manufacturer but remains their recommended one. Although the device is older it is still a single button operation like your newer device and the basics are the same. The first 3 minutes are the most helpful.
It also mentions waiting 10 mins between readings - 1-2 minutes will be fine for our purposes.
